A Call to Worship
In January 2025, pastors, ruling elders, worship leaders, children’s ministry leaders, and educators from across the PCA gathered at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, TX, to discuss steps needed to help create a culture of nurturing children in corporate worship.
This video highlights the discussions and work that led to developing a template for the philosophy of children in worship, which individual congregations can adapt and use.

Teach Us to Worship
Helping Churches Grow Lifelong Worshipers
Our mission is to equip churches to foster intergenerational worship and nurture children as lifelong worshipers.
“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.”
Psalm 95:6-7
“The covenant community’s very identity is wrapped up with worshiping its covenant keeping God. And this community consists of believing adults and their children. Therefore, the church lives out its theology when it encourages and even expects its children to participate in worship.”
From Let the Children Worship
by Jason Helopoulos
“…gather the people. Consecrate the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children, even nursing infants. Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her chamber.”
Joel 2:16
